1962 Fender Musicmaster played by Hudson Davis

Introduced in late 1956, the Musicmaster was part of a redesign of Fender's line of student level guitars which included the Duo-sonic and the Mustang. The model was offered with a 24" scale length or a shorter 22 1/2-inch scale length, this example featuring the latter. There is moderate playwear on the body, mostly along the back edges and on the top lower bout, and a bit of pickguard warping, but this piece is otherwise in original condition with no modifications to note.
