2004 Lincoln Navigator Ultimate 4X4 Black Monochrome | The Ultimate Lap of Luxury | In-Depth Review

Published
The Navigator needs no real introduction. It was first introduced in 1997 for the 1998 model year, and ran alongside its production stablemate, the also newly introduced Ford Expedition, of which it was, and still is based.
The Navigator represented the first intentional full-size domestic luxury 3-row SUV without moving up the trim ladder.
The first generation Navigator ran from model years 1998 to 2002, in which both vehicles were redesigned with new interiors and exteriors. At this point in time, the Navigator gained its own identity, further removing it from the Expedition.
New waterfall front grille design, and a completely new rear treatment was paired with a new dual-binnacle interior design, inspired from the Continental of the 1960’s. In addition, the Navigator and the newly released Explorer-based Aviator, looked almost exactly the same, inside and out, save for the dimensions.
Our Navigator was assembled at the Michigan Assembly Plant, in Wayne, Michigan, on June of 2004.
