5. Electric guitar soloing: finished learning the blues scale for all 5 patterns (recording tips)

Published
Finally finished learning all 5 patterns of the blues scale. Earlier I had completed the pentatonic scales for all 5 patterns.

This video is me practising soloing over backing track recorded with a looper pedal and multi-effects pedal drum-machine.

Rhythm: Hard Rock

Looping Chord Progression (Use power chords): C G Am Em F C F G

Soloing technique used:
Blue scales in Key of C major in all 5 positions

Electric guitar: Kaysen K-EG1 (Stratocaster)

Guitar amp: Ammoon GA-10 (10W)

Looper pedal: Ammoon AP-09 Nano Loop

Effects pedal (with drum machine): Ammoon Pockrock Multi-Effects

Video recorded with: iPad (activated with selfie-stick bluetooth remote)

To be improved:
1. Drums volume too soft at Level 2. Next video will up it to Level 5.
2. Use more bends.

Tips:
1. When recording loop:
(a) turn up drum level higher maybe 5.
(b) turn down guitar volume to 5, so that the power chords will not drown out the soloing later.

3. After done with loop, when soloing:
(a) turn up guitar volume to max 10.
(b) turn up guitar amp volume, so that iPad will pick up strong bass.
