Add variable negative bias Vintage Fender Princeton Reverb AA1164 Tube guitar amplifier 5 easy steps

Published
This is a popular modification for the Fender Princeton amps. Back in the day, Fender did not have variable negative bias on this model amp. It was a fixed negative voltage level, which did not allow for bias adjustment or a way to monitor tube current. This video will show you in 5 easy steps the update plus a convenient way to directly monitor the 6V6 current. After installation, bias setting is a piece of cake! Note: with the high price of tubes, you certainly want to ensure you have your tubes running at a safe level. E-mail if you need a copy of the hook up diagram.
