archaeomeryx {Eurorack, Little Deformer 3, Octatrack} (July 27, 2022) {Zoom Q8 1080 HD}

A semi-improvised mix of off-the-grid and sequenced percussive and a/rhythmic live looping and previously recorded stem loops, starting with Eurorack modular synthesis, through the Little Deformer 3 and into the Octatrack. The Little Deformer 3 contributes a periodically morphed percussion sequence, and occasionally the Eurorack signal live through a Variator effect buss. The live looping technique on the Octatrack employs a Flex Machine periodically sampling a Thru Machine.

Equipment used: Various Eurorack modules including Nonlinear Circuits The Hypster & 1050 Mixer Sequencer; ADDAC 506; Patching Panda Ephemere; Instruo Troika, Tš-L & vincâ; Teia OpticTone; Gotharman Little Deformer 3 MKI; Elektron Octatrack MKII; recorded on Zoom Q8 in 1080 HD video at 24 bit / 96kHz.

Audio post-processing consists of normalization, light equalization and compression.
