Auro Technologies Files for Bankruptcy; Game Over?

Auro 3D recently filled for bankruptcy. Does this mean the end of the immersive surround format or has it died years ago like we declared due to lack of software, incompatible speaker layouts with defacto standard Dolby Atmos, and lack of streaming support?
