AVS Forum Michigan Home Theater Meet & Projector Shoot-Out Fall 2021

As a long time reader at AVS Forum, I never saw fit to seek out local like-minded and interested folks to share this home theater enthusiast hobby with. Thankfully, there is a contingent of Michigan folks who have been for some time, and I was invited to join at the latest meet up and projector shoot-out.

What an excellent time! More than a dozen nice, smart, and tech-minded folks gathered and talked home theater and tons of other topics along with running a multi-hour projector shoot-out comparing three JVC models (NX7, RS540, and RS420), a Sony 385ES, and an Epson 5050UB. Much fun ensued along with a bunch of learning.

We also had the most intense home theater audio demo I could imagine in our host's theater as we were effectively assaulted by two GSG Devastators along with a whole host of other massive bass drivers. Incredible!

I had such a great time, and I really look forward to seeing these folks again and getting more involved in our Michigan home theater community.
