Beginner's guide to adding a subwoofer to an existing audio system

Subwoofers can easily be added to most audio systems. This is largely because the good ones have a variety of input options to support the vast majority of setups out there. Furthermore, it should be easy to D.I.Y. speaker connections to make them work if required.
