This is a rough-cut demo of a very rare guitar amp made by Valco/Airline for Montgomery Wards. The model number is GIM-9111A. This is an late 60's/early 70's model tube amp with two 6L6 power tubes and two 12AX7 preamp tubes. In my experience, airline amps have absolutely great vintage tone. I have restored and built clones of several Valco/Airline amps and they never disappoint with warm clean tones and creamy vintage break-up when pushed. It's an very well constructed clean point-to-point circuit with one hell of an amazing control panel design lit with two screw-in lamp light bulbs. It even has a dimmer switch for the control panel lights. Just a super cool vintage design. The circuit is quiet with just a little speaker hiss when turned all the way up. Otherwise it has a very quiet and brilliant sound.

I'm making this video for 1. because I could not find any good demo videos of this model amp out there. I believe it is a fairly difficult amp model to find these days. and 2. I'm selling this fully-serviced model so I wanted to have a frame of reference for the buyer.
