Cambridge A5 Amplifier Repair

Fault
No Audio from the left channel

Initial inspection as shown in the video identified multiple burnt out resistors confirming blown output Transistors.

The following components had to be replaced.

U201 SAP15N, U202 SAP15P Sanken
RV201 100 ohm bias trimmer, right channel trimmer also replaced.
Q207 MPSA42 Transistor
R230 47 ohm
R225 270 ohm
R212 2K ohm

Bias for each channel set to 13 millivolts.

User controls and switches cleaned with De-Oxit to ensure noise free operation

DC offset checked low at less than 4 millivolts.

Amplifier fully tested working correctly.
