Cambridge Azur 340A Amplifier Repair

Amplifier in protection mode, front panel input selection LEDs flashing.
Loud buzzing sound on the left channel.
Broken Speaker Terminals.

The video shows U7 the right channel power output integrated circuit.

High DC 34 Volts was present on the output pin, hence why the Amplifier was in protection mode.

U7 replaced enabling the Amplifier to come out of protection mode.

The Amplifier had a very loud buzzing noise on the left channel and the CD input did not work.

The video shows the input selection which was running very hot and the cause of the noise due to an internal failure.

U4 TC9163AF replaced fixing the issue.

Finally the speaker terminals were replaced and all user control and switches cleaned with De-Oxit to ensure noise free operation.

Amplifier fully tested working correctly.
