The December 2021 CADXA program was "Transceiver Performance for the HF Contester & DX Operator" presented by Rob Sherwood, NC0B. Rob began ham radio in 1961 in Cincinnati, OH. After graduating college in 1969 with a degree in physics, he moved to Denver and worked for KOA radio as an engineer until 1987.

1974 saw the beginning of Sherwood Engineering, offering roofing filters, etc. In 1976 he started measuring receiver performance on dozens of radios. Receiver test data is now web based with 150 transceiver and receiver listings. These can be found at www.nc0b.com/table.html.

Rob is a well versed speaker presenting at Dayton, Visalia, ARRL Hamcon and numerous other events.
