Cheap to build Homebrew Russian 6N3C Class A Practice Tube guitar amp DIY Great low budget design

Published
Well, this is the cheapest design I can come up with for your first tube guitar amp project. Antek power transformer $30, P-T31 output tranny $23, 6N3C $12, 2-6AV6's $10, Chassis $12, plus other assorted parts. I would say you could construct this amp for approx $150. I am very impressed with the performance of the Russian tube. I am estimating 8 watts of power, don't quote me. This thing is a screamer. The demo will prove that. Plus, it is quiet. A very compact design that can be used as shown or build a cabinet for it. I built this one in a day. Very straight forward design, just volume. No tone circuits, point to point wired. If you have been wanting to get into the hobby, but the high cost plus risk of kit amps scare you away, here is the solution. Detailed pictures and schematic are on my Patreon acct. https://www.patreon.com/dlab_electronics I also assist with the builds, provide Class A and AB custom eyelet PCBs. Winter is here, it's time to build!
