"N4rgh1l3 is an Audio-Visual project by Andrew Thomson and Lloyd Barrett, artists with over a decade experience in the Brisbane experimental music scene. Dissatisfied with bland laptop performance, N4rh1l3 approach ambient sound and image with a view towards emulating and inducing hypnagogic states. Inspired by the visual music of Jordan Belson, Len Lye and Stan Brakhage, they edge away from a digital aesthetic through the dense layering of both generated, and captured sound and image."
