The Denon PMA-1700NE is rated to deliver 70W @ 8Ω and 140W @ 4Ω per channel. Denon starts by integrating an ultra-high current single push-pull amplifier module. The amp circuitry is capable of reproducing powerful bass, detailed mids and clear high frequencies. It also ensures that the amp can drive a wide range of speaker types and impedances. Denon then deploys an advanced AL32 Processing Plus technology that uses data interpolation algorithms to support high resolution 384 kHz/32-bit audio sources. This is done to ensure high fidelity playback free of any digital interferences and artefacts.

One of the stand out features of the PMA-1700NE is the inclusion of the USB-DAC or Digital to Analog converter. It supports high resolutions up to 11.2-MHz DSD and 384- kHz/32-bit PCM input signals. The DAC also suppresses jitter and ensures optimal precision in the Digital to Analog conversion stage. The Denon PMA-1700NE is Hi-Res Audio certified. It can decode audio formats such as ALAC, FLAC, and WAV lossless files up to 24-bit/192 kHz and DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz tracks from SACDs.

For input connectivity, the integrated amplifier sports optical and coaxial digital inputs supporting PCM signals up to 192 kHz/24 bit. This comes in handy while connecting devices such as your TV audio, Blu-Ray and media players, computers and more. This is followed by a USB Type B connector for the aforementioned USB-DAC. You can use this to play your collection of high resolution audio files from a PC or laptop.
