Diane was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s in 2014. Diane had gone from walking five miles a day prior to Parkinson’s to literally not being able to walk around the block. Once diagnosed, she set a goal to walk a mile.
Diane far exceeded that goal in 2019 by hiking a challenging section of the Pacific Coast Trail with Pass to Pass, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for people with Parkinson’s disease to participate in outdoor hiking activities.
