DIY 2x8 Bass Guitar Speaker Cabinet Design and Build

I built a small compact 2x8 bass guitar cabinet about 5 years ago and thought that I would share the design and build information. This video goes over basic cabinet building, using a speaker cabinet design program (WinISD) to tune the cabinet size, ports and frequency response, speaker selection with Thiele-Small parameters - with a focus on cabinet design for bass guitar use.

The speakers (8 ohm) were wired in parallel for a total impedance of 4 ohms. The inside of the speaker cabinet was lined with fiberglass insulation as a sound absorbing material.
