Explore Sony’s New 4K Projectors: XW7000ES, XW6000ES & XW5000ES at the Spring 2022 Projection Summit

Sony just introduced two three 4K SXRD Laser Home Theater Projectors, the VPL-XW7000ES, VPL-XW6000ES, and VPL-XW5000ES. In the session, we are joined by Robert Brennan from Sony as we discuss these revolutionary new models. In addition to their laser sources, the new XW Series projectors also utilize a newly developed 0.61-inch SXRD panel which is more compact while still offering the high native contrast and native 4K UHD resolution.

All the new models are also equipped with the X1 Ultimate video processors which have been optimized for projector applications. The X1 Ultimate is Sony’s most powerful video processor, and it was first introduced in Sony’s flagship 4K SXRD projector the GTZ380.

Due to smaller SXRD panels, more compact optics, and new lenses, the XW Series projectors are smaller and lighter than the models they are replacing.
