While looking around on eBay I found this 2009 Macbook listed as "For parts or not working" and it seemed to have everything there. It was cheap, so I snatched it up.
In this video, I upgrade the memory from 4GB to 8GB and add a 500GB SSD. I also install MX Linux onto it. It is now a very usable machine and should have a few more good years of use.
At the beginning of the video, I give a quick update on how the solar is working.
