How to correctly upgrade the Audio system in a Toyota Landcruiser 200 series VX

Many new cars including the Toyota Landcruiser 200 series VX have a dynamic 'active' front sound stage audio system with bandpass and bi amplified front speakers. This means an extra step and extra parts are required to correctly upgrade the Audio system with a stronger amplifier and 2 way Component speakers.
This video shows an example of a Summing input adapter that blends the bandpassed front speaker OE outputs to then allow you to add am aftermarket amplifier.
The best method is to use an amplified processor, such as the JBL DSP available from Audiocom stores, but if you want to install a different amplifier, you will need to fit a summing line converter, we also keep these in stock at Audiocom stores.
