How to make Transformer Covers // DIY tube amp transformer enclosures

Published
In this video I describe why you may need transformer covers for your tube amp projects and how to make them with some basic tools.

I would be a bit cautious using covers for power transformers especially if they are prone to run hot. Ventilation holes and monitor the temps would be recommended.

The shielding tape and paint as mentioned in this video works well in guitars and will work in these covers as well for shielding high frequencies. Lower frequencies may require different product like a nickel alloy tape or paint. I welcome your comments if it works for you or not!
