The RPP2 is a phono preamp that will make your albums come alive and sound the way they were originally intended.

This phono pre-amp has 2 purposes

1.If you have a home audio receiver that does not have a phono input and only has regular RCA inputs then you can use this pre-amp to convert the signal from line level to phono level.

2.If you just have an amplifier and no receiver, then you can use this phono pre-amp and you can plug your turntable into the phono input and then go form the RCA output to the input of your power amplifier.

This preamp takes the phono output of your turntable and amplifies it to a typical line level output that be fed into your favorite amplifier or home audio receiver.

Additionally, this preamp applies a RIAA equalization curve to your playback device that will bring the recording as close as possible to the frequency response of the master recording. This will reproduce the full sonic spectrum of the recording the way that it was originally intended.

The bass and mid frequencies, that are reduced during the cutting process of the vinyl will be brought back to their intended levels while the high frequencies will be balanced, thus reducing the hiss and popping noises typically associated with turntables.
