Is it Okay to Just Strum Chords When Learning to Play Ukulele?

Davis Method for Keeping it Simple:
1. Get the strumming pattern down (or fingerpicking pattern)
2. Be able to play the chords in the order that you will play them in the song with your strumming or fingerpicking pattern.
3. Learn to play and sing one verse of a new song at a time.
