'Issues such as loudspeaker, Hanuman Chalisa didn't work in Maharashtra,' says Sanjay Raut

Aaditya Thackeray, the scion of the Thackeray clan, who is also the modern and moderate face of Shiv Sena, visited Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh Wednesday. Thousands of Sena workers also arrived in Ayodhya via buses, trains and flights. Speaking about the visit, senior Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said it was wrong to assume they were having a 'relook' at Hindutva through this visit. “We never left Hindutva, we left BJP, not Hindutva,” he said. Raut targeted the BJP for raising issues centering on Hanuman Chalisa and loudspeakers in religious places, and said the 2024 polls will again be fought on these issues. “Unemployment, targeted killings of Kashmiri Pandits, China entering Ladakh,” are the real issues but no one will send a bulldozer there, said Raut.
