Joanna McClinton makes history as first female Pennsylvania House Speaker

MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell is joined by Pennsylvania Democrat Joanna McClinton who on Tuesday was sworn in as the first woman to ever be the Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. McClinton, who has championed criminal justice and women’s rights during her legislative career, is also only the second African American to become Speaker of Pennsylvania’s state house.
