JUNK Tape Recorder UPCYCLED into a Tube Guitar Amp!

In this video, we will convert a vintage Japanese Fanon Masco TUBE reel to reel tape machine into a smoking hot little guitar amp. Along the way, I'll show you how to install an isolation transformer in a series filament amplifier to make it safe and reduce hum, and also we'll troubleshoot and modify the circuit. Finally, we'll demo the modified tape machine with my Paul Reed Smith CE24 and learn why putting a little effort into a vintage piece of gear like this can reward you with a GREAT tone for very little money invested.
