Kevin McCarthy elected as Speaker of the House of Representatives

After four days, fifteen rounds of ballots, and a near-fiasco on the floor, Kevin McCarthy is now the Speaker of the House. It came down to getting six holdouts not to vote yes, but to “present.” NBC News’ Ali Vitali reports on what McCarthy traded for the win and what it could do to the House’s productivity moving forward.
