Lok Sabha Speaker : ലോക്സഭാ സ്പീക്കർ സ്ഥാനത്ത് സസ്പെൻസ് തുടരുന്നു. പദവിയിലേക്ക്യെ TDPയെ പിന്തുണച്ച് INDIA Alliance രംഗത്ത് വന്നു. ടിഡിപി സ്ഥാനാർഥിയെ നിർത്തിയാൽ പിന്തുണക്കുമെന്ന് Shiv Sena Uddhav വിഭാഗം അറിയിച്ചു. ഇന്നലെ Rajnath Singhന്റെ വസതിയിൽ ചേർന്ന NDA യോഗത്തിലും ഈ വിഷയം ചർച്ചയായി.

The Opposition’s INDIA bloc might field a candidate for the post of Speaker for the 18th Lok Sabha if the Deputy Speaker’s post is not given to their camp, according to sources. The Lok Sabha will elect its new Speaker on June 26 for which notices for motions supporting candidates can be submitted till noon a day prior, according to the Lok Sabha secretariat.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) may “retain” the post of Speaker, with a party MP likely to be elected for the role.
