Low Budget Tube Guitar Amp Build — Idiot's First Attempt

Published
This is part 1 of a vlog series documenting my build of a vacuum tube guitar amplifier based on the AX84 co-operative tube amp project. The amplifier I am building is based on two 12AX7 pre-amp stages and an EL84 output stage. Too keep costs low, transformers salvaged from a junk tube radio are being used. In part 1, I talk about how I constructed the chassis and wired the power supply section.

I am an amateur and not an expert. If you do notice anything wrong in what I say, please feel free to comment below. Do keep in mind that tube amps contain dangerous high voltages, so please do your research if you are planning to do this as well.
