This is an audition for a rare Luxman SQ77. The SQ77 was released in 1964 with 2 versions after. This is the 1964 version that had 10 watts per channel. She uses an 6BQ5 push-pull circuitry and a high-fidelity output transformer with dedicated NF coil. The tone control circuit is a separate type in which the left and right are independent.
How does she sound? Well as you can hear, she is awesome. I love the punch of this unit. Luxman did make great output transformers. This audition drives KLH Fifteens. The source is CD of Yutaka featuring Brazasia. Enjoy!
