Making sharp bandwidth coils/filters for Long Wave Radio or 50 KC - 300 KC (electronic circuits)

Published
The video tells everything about how to make radio coils and (say) a sharp filter (high Q) in the frequency band between 20 KC and 150KC/200 KC. Say an L-C bandpass filter.

It is in fact a video that belongs to a series of video’s during the past weeks/month, where I try to make a LW Radio with a good suppression of the (extreme) noise, always found in this Long Wave Radio Band.

Perhaps I will give the links to these other video’s, though this video can also be watched by itself. I don't want to give too much links to my earlier video's.

There are, where I live, (Europe, Netherlands, Utrecht) 2 stations that can be properly received on Long Wave Radio: the BBC and one French Radio Station.

I want to catch them and sort out much noise and disturbances (as much as possible) with the idea’s that I have formed about the use of these coil filters. Perhaps (second idea) is to make a sharp Opamp filter with a 741 Opamp or a TL 081 Opamp that can work this radio band, say between 150 KC and 300 KC.

Using Opamps as radio filters (say around 150 KC) has also to do with the usable frequency-bandwidth product that completely depends on the Opamp properties (watch the datasheets). That frequency-bandwidth product is also related to the practical/maximum amplification that can be reached on a certain frequency.

So perhaps a 741 is therefore not usable in this radio band (say around 150 KC) due to its (low?) frequency-bandwith product (always related to the amplification factor of an Opamp on frequency X). Not tested, only a first idea.

But perhaps a TL 081 Opamp will work, it, in general, has a higher frequency-bandwidth product (watch the datasheet of the TL 081, evt. compare it to the 741 Opamp).

I hope that such a setup will/can succeed, it will be an experiment in the future, when coil filters don’t want to work properly (regarding the specs that are necessary and what I want) and thus I have to search for other options.

My You Tube channel trailer is here: https://youtu.be/xbgQ8T3oqh4 When you search, search always “NEWEST FIRST” to get the right overview. You can also search via the “looking glass” on my Channel trailer via keywords like ”audio”, “radio”, “amplifier”, “filter”, “Shortwave”, “transistor”, “FET”, “oscillator”, “generator”, “switch”, “schmitt trigger” etc; so the electronic subject you are interested in. My books about electronics & analog radio technology are available via the website of "LULU”, search for author “Ko Tilman” there.

I keep all my YT videos constant actual, so the original video’s with the most recent information are always on YouTube. Search there, and avoid my circuits that are republished, re-arranged, re-edited on other websites, giving not probable re-wiring, etc.

Some persons try to find gold via my circuits. I take distance from all these fake claims. I cannot help that these things happen. Upload 1 december 2021.
