Nasty Distortion in a Dumble Overdrive Special (clone)

Published
It started as an adventure to discover what makes a Dumble amplifier so iconic and sought after. But to reach this treasure we had to wade through a swamp of questionable workmanship led astray by a treasure map (aka schematic) determined to send us down many snake-infested dead-ends. In the end, we reappeared in the sonic sunshine of a small Dumble clone. And yes, it was worth it.
Join me in this adventure and you may even pick up a skill to use in your own Quest.
