Nikko NR-1015 Stereo Receiver (1977)...The Restoration Process

In this video, I get down to the business of restoring the beautifully engineered Nikko NR-1015 vintage AM FM Stereo Receiver, manufactured in Japan I. the late 1970s. In doing the restoration I could not help but be impressed with the way this unit was constructed. It possesses a quality of build even superior to what I have seen in Marantz and H.H. Scott. The unit had two problems: first, someone had jammed an object into one of the auxiliary RCA input jack holes, thus rendering it unusable. Secondly, the unit was in need of a thorough cleaning. This was am easy project and if you are in the market for a rather rare vintage AM FM stereo receiver, this is definitely a unit I would go for.
