No Memes, Just Attempting The GREATEST Solo Of All Time

I've gotta be honest, I listen to so much guitar playing on a daily basis that it's super rare that I hear something that really impresses me these days. But when I first heard Guthrie Govan's solo on the Jason Becker song "Rive Of Longing" (off the 2018 album "Triumphant Hearts") I was completely floored! I remember that I instantly set about learning it and spent the whole day writing up a transcription, and the subsequent playthrough video that I did was actually one of the first YouTube videos I ever uploaded (you can still find it if you have a poke-around). The solo is absolutely perfect and has absolutely everything that makes a solo great! Pain in the ass to learn though. Enjoy!
