Op Amps: Single Supply Inverting Amplifier

Published
In this video we examine how to run an inverting op amp circuit from a single DC supply. Extra components are added to create a midpoint bias which prevents inadvertent clipping. It follows the technique used for non-inverting amplifiers but with some twists. We also examine the lower frequency limit of the circuit.
