Parliament Fire I Speaker of the National Assembly and Public Works Minister address the media

Minister of Public Works, Patricia de Lille, says the cause of the fire at the Parliament precinct in Cape Town is being investigated. A large fire is currently raging at the Houses of Parliament - which is now active in the National Assembly. Video footage shows a plume of black smoke filling the sky, with huge flames coming out from the roof of the building.
