PRS McCarty 594 Hollowbody II Tone Samples

Definitely not my finest playing in this one, and my iPad audio could have been better, but the purpose of this video is to provide an idea of the sounds and available tones from this guitar to anyone considering buying it from me. I believe I have used every pick up permutation across all my various sounds, in order to try and demonstrate this guitars versatility. Both tone controls are push/pull pots, allowing you to split both humbuckers individually. This provides added versatility in the middle position, as you can have both as humbuckers, both split or either combination of one split and the other full.

The signal chain is the PRS into a Snake Oil Fine Instruments “The Very Thing” for the overdriven/crunch tones, and remaining on when I switch to the drive section of my Marshall DSL40C. Treble and mids are both set around 3 o’clock , bass around 9 o’clock and gain at exactly half way. All controls on The Very Thing are set to 9 o’clock, to provide a crunch sound on the clean channel, and a little more of everything in the amps drive section.
