Schecter PT Tele: 1985 Dallas Era: Rewire By Cody at Everything Musical

Published
I was having some bad screeching noises after I re-wired my Schecter Tele. I went down to my local shop, Everything Musical and had it repaired in less than 24 hours by their excellent tech, Cody.
I decided to skip the push-pull this time in favor of impersonating a Les Paul, since it has maple and mahogany wood, as opposed to alder or ash, and like and LP it has humbuckers. I have also noticed that the guitar feels more visceral and has an Immediacy to it that was lacking with the push-pull wiring. I also felt like the splitting was somewhat anemic and not that useable, so direct wire to CTS pots and a generic .022 or .047 cap (forgot to ask the value, I think it's .022).
