In a press conference on Sunday, the prime minister appeared to refer to journalists as 'Mr Speaker'. The reference part of the protocol in parliament where MPs are not supposed to address each other directly; rather, they are meant to speak to the speaker of the house who runs its meetings. Journalists questioned the prime minister after announcing Anne Ruston to replace outgoing health minister Greg Hunt should they win the upcoming election
