Shaping Guitar Tone WITHOUT EQ | Line 6 Helix

The origin of my latest Line 6 Helix preset pack came out of some serious experimentation. After a journey that included hundreds of IR's from various companies, using two cabs/paths and dual cabs, I ended up trying to simplify things and that when I discovered the power we have inside of Helix and the cab block and that is the Microphone Selection slider and the Distance slider. These two sliders have MASSIVE tonal and sonic effects on shaping our guitar tone.

In this video, I try to demonstrate that very idea and concept.
