Short demo of my DIY JTM45 Micro Tube Amplifier (Bassman Micro - robrobinette.com design)

Published
I know this is a bit of a departure from my normal bluegrass videos, but I've been a little distracted building a couple hand-wired tube amplifiers. Here's a quick demo of a JTM45 Micro (LTP) (Bassman Micro) amp that I build from scratch (amp head cab, speaker cabs, and amp) using the schematic from @Rob Robinette (https://robrobinette.com/Bassman_Micro.htm).

It uses three 12AX7 preamp tubes, one 12AU7 as the power tube, and an EZ81 rectifier tube.

This little tune is one based on a YouTube video I saw a couple years ago from @Laura Cox: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GYkM0_sH3bU Of course she does it a million times better...so good!

I'm playing my telecaster through an analog delay pedal straight into the front of the micro amp. I also play the bass through the same amp plugged in directly. The speaker is a 1x12 Mojotone Greyhound in a custom cab I built to go with the amp. Playing my Pre-War Dreadnought to give a little more sound it all ... it was looking sad with me fiddling around with these electrics.

Recorded with a Shure SM57 directly into Logic Pro.
