Restoring one of these complex radios requires a lot of research, especially if you haven't done one before. If you research things properly, the actual work is greatly simplified. The opposite is also true, as is obvious in this video. My search for a missing band took me down a rabbit hole that almost drove me crazy, but all works out well in the end.
