Speaker Bagbin, Majority Leader Mensah-Bonsu lock horns over e-levy | Citi Newsroom

The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, and the Majority Leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, have locked horns over the e-levy. The Speaker has stated that if the NPP government pursues the passing of the bill, it will lose the 2024 election, while the Majority Leader has accused the Speaker of demanding an increase in parliament's allocation before the budget is passed.
