Speaker Oulanyah donates UGX 100m to Church of Uganda

The Speaker of Parliament of Uganda Jacob Oulanyah has fulfilled his pledge to give one hundred million shillings to the Church of Uganda.

The money will go towards clearing a debt in billions of shillings owed to Equity Bank.

The funds were used to construct the Church House in Kampala. Oulanyah also donated another twenty million shillings towards lighting at the Uganda Martyrs’ Anglican Shrine in Namugongo.
