Speaker Pelosi Receives 'Women for Peace and Security' Award in Portugal | EWTN News Nightly

Published
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi met with Pope Francis at the Vatican over the weekend. Today in Portugal she received the Women for Peace and Security Award during a NATO ceremony. That said, she has also received a bit of criticism from some for going on her European trip with all that is happening in the US. Washington Editor of the Spectator, Amber Athey, shares her thoughts on that. On another note, President Joe Biden's popularity appears to be plummeting, even among Democrats. Athey explains what she thinks he can do or what he should do to gain back confidence. One of the issues President Biden is getting low marks on is the handling of the border crisis, which seems to be getting worse. Athey recently interviewed former President Donal Trump about a number of issues including the border. She tells us more about that. The Washington Editor of the Spectator also talked to President Trump about the Department of Justice directing the FBI to investigate threats of violence at local school board meetings, essentially to investigate parents. She discusses what he had to say about that and what else they discussed.
