Spectacular Speakers: Monitor Audio Silver 300 and 500 7G - SoundStage! Real Hi-Fi (Ep:31)

The UK’s Monitor Audio was established in 1972 by Mo Iqbal—so this year the company is officially 50 years old. With the company making speakers for that many years, it’s no surprise that the products they create are of high quality and highly regarded.

But despite the lengthy history, SoundStage! founder Doug Schneider thinks Monitor Audio’s speakers often get overlooked by the audiophile community. In this video, Doug highlights two new Monitor Audio speakers, the 500 7G and 300 7G, which are part of the company’s Silver Series 7G lineup and were respectively reviewed by Philip Beaudette and Dennis Burger on two of our sites. Doug thinks these speakers ideally illustrate what Monitor Audio is currently capable of.
