Guest Speaker - Dr. Prasun Mishra

About the Presenter:
Prasun Mishra was born in West Bengal, India. He received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from Haldia Institute of Technology, Haldia, India, in 2010, and the M.Tech. degree in Mechatronics from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research, New Delhi, India, in 2013. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India in 2020. He is currently working as a Research Fellow in the department of energy technology, Aalborg University, Denmark. From 2010 to 2011, he was with Tata Consultancy Services, Bangalore, India. From 2013 to 2014, he was a Scientist Trainee with Quick Hire Scientist (trainee) Fellowship in CSIR - Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CMERI), Durgapur, India. His research interests include design of Si and SiC power converters, design of power filters, control of electric motor drives, and control of grid connected converters.
