The 2022 All-Analog Pedalboard....Here We Go Again!!

It's that time, folks...the annual big pedalboard build! At the start of every year I put a new board together to help me in the coming 365 days' worth of studio recordings and video making. It's a labour of love, to say the least...!

This year, I wanted some more tube pedals on the board, and for it to fit in better with my love of cranking tube amps up to the point they want to bite my head off....so we're looking at ways of supplementing great tube amps and helping them do their magic, rather than running them as clean platforms and have the pedals do all the heavy lifting.

Guitar is a Gronlund R16 Redeemer Junior w/ TV Jones Ful-Fidelity "Ray Butts" Filter'Tron. Amp is a Vajra JTM45 clone running into a Zilla Studio Pro 2x12 cabinet loaded with Scumback S75-PVC AlNiCo and Celestion AlNiCo Gold speakers. Recorded with Aston Spirit Condenser, '70s Sennheiser MD441 and sE RNR1 ribbon mics, with a Schoeps CMC6 room mic.
