Thrift Store Fender Frontman Guitar Amplifier: Repairing the Jack, Recovering & Modifying the Grill

Published
Another little thrift store amp - I can never seem to pass up a $20 amplifier. This Fender Frontman PR241 is a 15W amp, made in Mexico in the 1990s. This one was obviously filthy and needed a ton of cleanup. While inspecting it, I found that it also needed a new input jack, and I decided to remove the fixed baffle and create a new baffle covered with new grill cloth. After everything is cleaned and assembled, I give the amp a brief test.
