Tiny module HUGE patch potential // DPW Design Zero 2 & Switch

Published
Here we have the Zero 2 from DPW Design that I’m coupling with the ‘Switch’ module for a bit of a co-video. These two are a perfect pairing, partners in crime, bandits of rhyme and chief keepers of time …

When making demos I want to make videos that are tutorials on a given set of functions, pushing for creativity and musicality with the tools at hand. With Zero 2 and Switch the possibilities are fairly endless, they look simple but the power that lies in the patching brings so many ways of working I was excited to continually find new things from the modules. We can analyse audio to find click-free points to switch waveforms, logic AND or MIN/MAX functions, switch based half wave rectifications, Ring Mod like tones, retro arcade game trill sounds, probability skipping, adding jitter to clocks or getting things in sync … watch the video and see. For a few sockets in two HP it’s a powerful little thing!

For an extended look at the inner workings of the Zero 2 check out this video from Dan at DPW here // https://bit.ly/DanZero2
